Attractions and Interior of Bohol Island


The Chocolate Hills are a "must see" on a Bohol Island Vacation, it is the most notable attraction in Bohol. They look like a giant mole hills or like a women’s breast. The chocolate hills consist of no less than 1268 hills. Mostly of the hills are very uniform of shape and mostly between 30 and 50 meters high. The hills are covered with grass and at the end of the dry season it turns the chocolate into brown. Each hill is green. A chocolate hill is one of the most spectacular landscapes in the Philippines.  
Baclayon Church is founded by a pair of Spanish Jesuits in 1595. It is the oldest stone church of the Philippines which was built around 1596. It built like a massive fortress. Te church now have a small museum which is open to the upon request.  
Philippine Tarsier is known locally as the Maumag in Cebuano and Mamag in Luzon, it is one of the endangered species of tarsier endemic of the Philippines. Tarsier also called as the smallest monkey in the world. This little creature has an average size between 90 to 160 mm and weight between 70 to 165 grams. 
Loboc River is one of the main spots where tourists like to go because this river offers a floating restaurant that blasting the Frank Sinatra tunes and other oldies music. Along the Loboc bank there are several souvenir shops.
Loboc is about 24 km from Tagbilaran. 
Rajah Sikatuna National Park is 9000 hectares of native molave forest and grasslands; it is kilometers of haphazardly marked trails.
